National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Testing
The National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) has partnered with Pearson VUE to deliver the computer-based Fire Alarm Systems certification examinations.
The mission of NICET is to provide an independent evaluation of technical knowledge and experience, through certification, among those working in the fields of engineering technology; define and support career paths for engineering technologists and related disciplines; and ensure recognition and continued professional development of certified individuals.
Since NICET was founded in 1961, more than 125,000 technicians and technologists have met NICET’s rigorous certification criteria, and the number grows rapidly as more employers and local and state governments rely on NICET certification to measure the qualifications of their workforce.
NICET offers over 25 nationally recognized, engineering technology, certification programs. See Certification Program Information to find the program right for you.
Before scheduling your exam appointment, you must complete and submit the appropriate application by visiting the NICET website.
